Lily Tomlin arrested at Jane Fonda’s climate change protest

Another Friday, another arrest at Jane Fonda’s Fire Drill Fridays protest.

The official Twitter page for Fonda’s climate change protests shared a video of Fonda’s “Grace and Frankie” co-star Lily Tomlin being arrested on the steps of Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on Friday.

“@LilyTomlin was just arrested because forests can’t wait!” the account tweeted. “To maximize the climate benefit of forests, we must keep more forest landscapes intact, manage forests sustainably, and restore those that we have lost.”

In the video, Tomlin and another protester can be seen with zip ties around their wrists as they are being led away by police officers in front of a cheering crowd.
