July’s Fire Drill Friday Virtual Rally

Watch our latest Fire Drill Fridays virtual rally from Friday, July 3rd. Jane Fonda was joined by Winona LaDuke (Honor the Earth), Maurice Mitchell (Working Families Party), and Hop Hopkins (Sierra Club) — some of the most inspiring activists and organizers in our movement — for a conversation around what freedom really means in the US.

Together, we explored themes around the intersection of climate and racial justice, and discuss what independence from fossil fuels, police brutality, corporate control of our government, and systemic oppression looks like. We’re so grateful to everyone who tuned in, and look forward to talking with you all next time.

Recordings reveal President Trump downplayed COVID-19, Desi Lydic talks to the founder of gender reveal parties, and “What Can I Do?” author Jane Fonda discusses climate change activism.
